Minion #2LegendaryPetCollectibleIndestructibleBeing a demonic fiend of the underworld has it's perks, but freedom, well, that just isn't one of them. Those who try and escape it's evil reigns, are normally met with swift destruction, yet every so often, one will manage to slip past the veil of darkness, and escape directly into the mortal realm. In this particular case, his name was Minion #2.
Under the direct control of King Karthulu, Minion #2 had it bad. As one of the oldest to be enslaved, he spent centuries doing the bidding of the king. Day after day, hour after hour, Minion #2 spent working, grinding away in the grueling mines of the abyss. His brittle bones begging for solace, but Minion #2 didn't have a choice. As one of King Karthulu's minions, you are controlled, an evil spell commanding your every move, yet, after centuries, Minion #2 could feel the control slipping away, the hex beginning to weaken. Slowly but surely, he was starting to feel free.
As time went on, Minion #2 planned his escape. joyously dreaming of the outside world. He determined that while Karthulu was sleeping, his control felt to be at it's weakest, and as the king laid down to rest, Minion #2 made his move. Dashing through the mines with target in sight, he raced towards the nearest nether portal, the other minions looking on in disbelief, as he leapt through the magical passageway, he was free.
Although no longer under the direct control of King Karthulu, Minion #2 still maintains a follower mentality, making him a loyal companion to those who merely show him respect.
Lucid Ruin #1MythicalAxe (Two-Handed)CollectibleIndestructible15% chance to gain FrenzyLegends claim Lucid Ruin was born from a forge that existed only in a dream.
Its molten heart cooled around a single, lucid thought, a vision of perfect destruction. When wielded, the weapon hums with an eerie calm, as if time itself slows to witness each strike.
Those who succumb to its clarity find themselves trapped in a trance of precision, their will dissolving as the weapon guides their every motion.
It grants enlightenment... but only through ruin.
Roaring Sand Dragon #9MythicalSword (Two-Handed)CollectibleIndestructible+10% chance to cause VulnerableThe best things happen, unexpectedly. Horace Frye of Eduith learned this many moons ago, and in a rather fortunate way. While searching for artifacts in the desert region of Vemmin, Horace suddenly started sinking through a pit of quick sand. Despite having a team with him, they were unable to rescue him in time, and feared he was no more.
Horace was very much alive, at least for the moment, as he had fallen completely through the pit, landing in a cavernous area, deep underground. A bit shocked as one would imagine, Horace rushed to his feet, and lit a torch to reveal his surroundings. Standing right in from of him, and breathing up a storm, was the largest, and only dragon Horace had ever seen.
Just like anybody else would do in his situation, Horace ran for his life, deeper, and deeper into this cave, and in turn, the dragon followed in pursuit. As Horace reached the end of the cavern, he had nowhere left to run, and being backed into a corner, assumed he was a goner. This dragon however, did not seem to want to attack Horace, but rather, reveal something to him. As the dragon seemingly pointed at a crevice in the wall, Horace began to dig, and lodged in that crack, was the most magnificent blade he had ever seen.
As Horace grabbed the sword, the dragon whisked Horace off of his feet, and threw him onto it's back. With a thrust of it's wings, the dragon flew upwards, towards the surface, emerging from the depths of the sand. Sword in hand, the dragon placed Horace on the ground, and flew away, never to be seen again.
NecrofancyLegendaryArtifactCollectibleIndestructible+20% Crit Chance and +20% Crit DamageNamed Necrofancy, for it's elegant design, yet deathly brutal power, this mesmerizing pendant is not only a sight to behold, but may also be the dominant figure of your nightmares.
Often regarded for it's well crafted appearance, this fashionable necklace covertly harbors a far darker secret, within. Nestled inside it's viridescent gem, exists the spirit of Makarai, a skilled soldier of darkness, and sworn enemy of all that is holy.
Although Makarai is no longer around, in physical form, it is said that his lifeblood lives on, within this polished forgotten artifact. Those who don this ring, are said to become infused through spiritic bond, and bestowed the last remaining essence of power, from this once, legendarily corrupt, being.
Arkor's Ring of TransferenceMythicalArtifactCollectibleIndestructibleLeeches up to +100 health and converts it to energy from nearby monsters in line of sight, up to 10000 health (The effect is stronger the closer you are to the target)In the years following his escape, Arkor's pursuit of forbidden knowledge only deepened. He learned that vengeance alone could not sustain his waning power, so he sought to transmute it.
The Ring of Transference was his final triumph: a masterpiece of cruel ingenuity that twists the flow of life itself. Instead of feeding upon the blood of others, it channels their stolen vitality into pure energy, invigorating its bearer with every nearby death.
Few can endure its surge without collapse, for the ring does not distinguish between the strength it grants and the strength it devours.
NetherbandLegendaryArtifactCollectibleIndestructible+25% Melee Damage against monsters with above 50% health remainingThey say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what if said beauty is a 10,000 year old ring, with a dark and twisted past, hell-bent on manipulating it's host with a malevolent force, the likes of which the world has never seen? In this case, some hesitation may be in order.
Forged from ashes of the fallen, the Netherband is an unmistakable representation, of all that is evil. Brushed with a jet black veneer, and only outmatched by it's engrossed inner glow, this sinister circlet should not be donned by those unwilling to harness it's potentially risky, force.
Originally created as an instrument of dominion, used to keep the minions of the underworld, under control, the Netherband has since had much of it's powers depleted; a shade of it's former self. However, don't let it's dimming glow fool you, as even a mere fragment of the Netherband's power, is enough to not only have your enemies adjust course, but may very well leave you questioning your own mortality, as well.
Arkor's Ring of RevengeMythicalArtifactCollectibleIndestructibleLeeches up to +100 health from nearby monsters in line of sight, up to 10000 health (The effect is stronger the closer you are to the target)In the 4th aeon, none were as reviled as the conjurer, Arkor the cold.
After committing heinous crimes in the name of 'abstruse discovery of the arcane', a gallery of 100 people in the hall of judgement successfully petitioned for his imprisonment.
After a year had passed, Arkor seized an opportunity to escape captivity and immediately sought revenge.
Devising a plan, he set about making crude rings and pervaded them with a malicious black aura, sending them to each of the members of the gallery.
Strangely, only some of those who received the rings succumbed, painfully, to the ring's mysterious, dark power, while the others seemed, oddly enough, to absorb it!

Darkheart MedallionMythicalArtifactCollectibleIndestructible+50% Melee Weapon Damage, but your maximum health is reduced by 1000Discovered deep in the jungle, off the coast of Indimar, the Darkheart Medallion is a cherished posession among the local Makah tribe, who have been guarding it for over a century. As the story goes, he who dares wear the medallion, whilst not of pure heart, shall be cursed.
The founder of the Makah tribe, Clayton Marsh, discovered this the hard way. Whilst out on an expedition in search of new land, Marsh spotted the medallion nestled inside an odd looking rock formation, and before reading the text inscribed on the ancient medallion, decided he should try it on. This was a big mistake. As Marsh wrapped the medallion around his neck, he became enraged, and began attacking his fellow tribemates, swiftly, and ferociously. Marsh was clearly possessed, and could not be reasoned with. Attempting to remove this medallion from around Marsh's neck wasn't an option, as he was far too powerful. The tribe had no other option but to pierce an arrow through his heart, in order to end the madness, and they did just that.
After that fateful day, the Makah tribe vowed to protect the medallion with their lives, in which to avoid an occurrence like that ever taking place again. With an active membership you can unlock richer activity insights for this adventurer.
