Although many believe that the underworld is controlled by a single entity, this is simply not the case. Even the most powerful of beings need loyal henchmen in order enact their evil bidding, and when it comes to allegiance, very few pay fealty more than that of the sinister soul known as King Karthulu.
Said to be conceived by the purest of evils, King Karthulu is a menace, a ruthless tyrant, mercilessly doing whatever needs to be done, in an effort to maintain order within the nether regions of the abyss. Whether minion, or ruler, double-cross him, and you'll quickly meet the pointy end of his blade.
Legend tells of a noble prince, loved and respected by all, but cursed to eternal damnation by an evil sorceress, and sent to the abyss in order to carry out unspeakable acts. Many believe that this tale directly refers to Karthulu himself, but even it it were true, the king's soul has plunged too far into darkness for even a chance at recovering a morsel of his former self. This is now his sole form, this is King Karthulu! Woven by a secretive order of stormcallers known as the Aetherweavers, this cape crackles with the tension of a sky moments before it breaks. Its silken threads, pulled from the webs of the elusive Velora, a lightning-born spider said to nest among the highest thunderclouds, shimmer with residual volts that dance across the fabric in branching arcs.
Wearing the Thunderweave Cape is said to blur the line between the storm and the soul. It doesn't just protect the wearer, it connects them to the pulse of the sky itself.
A symbol of precision, patience, and power, much like the lightning strike and the spider’s web alike. Allows shapeshifting into this form.

Bred by the gods of the underworld, using the most corrupt magics imaginable, this beast spent centuries doing the bidding of it's masters, and did so with pride.
An abominable brute, with an appetite for destruction, Wartonda knew it's purpose, and delivered. Striking fear in it's enemies eyes, Wartonda terrorized the outer plains of which it targeted. With it's razor-sharp horns, and lightning-quick speeds, very few stood a chance of prolonged survival.
Dashing, and thrashing through the surface without fear, when Wartonda had you in it's sights, you had but one option... war! Grants the Cleanse ability, allowing harmful effects to be removed during an adventure.

Horace Frye of Eduith learned this many moons ago, and in a rather fortunate way. While searching for artifacts in the desert region of Vemmin, Horace suddenly started sinking through a pit of quick sand. Despite having a team with him, they were unable to rescue him in time, and feared he was no more.
Horace was very much alive, at least for the moment, as he had fallen completely through the pit, landing in a cavernous area, deep underground. A bit shocked as one would imagine, Horace rushed to his feet, and lit a torch to reveal his surroundings. Standing right in from of him, and breathing up a storm, was the largest, and only dragon Horace had ever seen.
Just like anybody else would do in his situation, Horace ran for his life, deeper, and deeper into this cave, and in turn, the dragon followed in pursuit. As Horace reached the end of the cavern, he had nowhere left to run, and being backed into a corner, assumed he was a goner. This dragon however, did not seem to want to attack Horace, but rather, reveal something to him. As the dragon seemingly pointed at a crevice in the wall, Horace began to dig, and lodged in that crack, was the most magnificent blade he had ever seen.
As Horace grabbed the sword, the dragon whisked Horace off of his feet, and threw him onto it's back. With a thrust of it's wings, the dragon flew upwards, towards the surface, emerging from the depths of the sand. Sword in hand, the dragon placed Horace on the ground, and flew away, never to be seen again.+10% chance to BurnBefore Sentinel Erridrus opened his college in the north of Evanbrook, a young Fisda Zern managed to obtain an exclusive apprenticeship with the Sentinel. Having studied previously at the Arcane University, Fisda desired to continue his studies and the Sentinel, aware of Zern's enthusiasm, was more than happy to take him under his wing. After several years of lectures, demonstrations and trials, Zern was given several bows by the Sentinel to be used in a final assessment of his capabilities. His assignment was to imbue the bows with a perpetual flame which could expel bolts of fire, surpassing the need for a quiver of arrows. After an initial mishap, Fisda Zern was able to achieve his objective using some special Remnant stones he had 'acquired' from the Arcane University. The result was stunning with Sentinel Erridrus putting the bows to the test on all manner of valuable wooden items, watching them burn with much amusement. After 'assessing' the bows, now shrouded in an incandescent red flame, the Sentinel knew the time had come for his student.
"I can no longer know you as 'Adept Zern'" said the Sentinel sternly. "You shall now be known unto me as 'Master Zern'. You have passed my final test!" said the Sentinel, his smile beaming through his long white beard.
It is not certain how many bows were made but both of the arcane practitioners dubbed them 'Reign of Fire'. Fisda Zern was given a handful of the bows by Sentinel Erridrus who kept one for himself and sold the rest for a great sum of money, allowing him to build his college for other students interested in learning the art of the arcane. It has been said that the Sentinel can still occasionally be seen on the Erridrus college grounds, burning wooden furniture with his beloved bow! +900 health and +900 energyLanguage of the mad.

Mendthar ordered the men to lay before him 100, fist sized, rocks.
The men did just so and brought the rocks before the great adept.
Mendthar, speaking in an ancient tongue, imbued a blessing upon the rocks and told Derrien to pledge one to each man.

These enlightened beings delved into the mysteries of the cosmos, seeking to harness the power of the heavens themselves. Through their tireless efforts, they unearthed a long-lost artifact, the Stellarfire Amulet.
Legend tells of a catastrophic event that transpired eons ago, when a mighty asteroid, imbued with celestial energy, descended upon the realm. Its impact devastated the land, leaving behind a scorched wasteland. The Sages recognized the untamed power within this otherworldly rock and dedicated their lives to studying it.
Crafted with utmost precision, the Stellarfire Amulet was formed to house a fragment of the very same cosmic essence that dwelled within the fabled asteroid. Its gold chain represents the unity of the celestial and earthly realms, while the deep purple gemstone encapsulates the profound energy of the cosmos.
According to the ancient texts, the wearer of the amulet gains a conduit to the heavens, able to summon forth the power of the celestial body. When the amulet is invoked, the gemstone pulsates with an ethereal glow, as if infused with the very essence of the stars. With a focused mind and a clear intent, the wearer selects a target location, calling upon the heavens to unleash the wrath of the asteroid.
The Sages of the Astral Sanctum, aware of the potential for destruction, safeguarded the Stellarfire Amulet within their sacred temple, hidden away from those who would exploit its power. Only those deemed worthy and entrusted with the wisdom of the cosmos are granted access to this relic, for they understand the delicate balance between creation and annihilation.Time has worn away any clues to this artifact’s origins, leaving only faded symbols and a lingering sense of significance.

Although the practice of voodoo is rather unknown to the covens newer generation, some of it's older members still rely on this form of magic, as it allows them to inflict pain on an enemy from afar.
During the early days of the coven, one of it's highly skilled members crafted a doll with the capability to inflict injury upon an enemy, from great distance, however, this magic was too powerful, and in the end, none of the witches were truly able to harness it's power, eventually abandoning the practice due to the severe side effects that were inflicted upon the conjurer.
