Kyle Fenwick

Kyle Fenwick spent years escorting traders along roads that most sensible travelers avoided. The work taught him to spot an ambush, travel light, and distrust anyone offering directions without being asked.

Eventually, protecting other people's cargo lost its appeal. Too many caravans passed crumbling ruins and sealed passages that nobody had time to investigate. With his earnings finally enough to fund an expedition of his own, Kyle traded familiar roads for the promise of something worth discovering.

He still checks every exit before entering a room. Experience has made that a difficult habit to break.
