Flamin' Jack

When a frightened farmer burned his pumpkin patch to stop a creeping blight, something beneath the soil mistook the flames for an invitation.

By morning, the field was ash, and Jack was standing in it, grinning.

Nobody knows whose spirit inhabits that smouldering gourd. Jack changes his story whenever he tells it, usually while setting something alight. What remains consistent is his appetite for trouble, his dreadful laughter, and the trail of scorched footprints leading away from every incident.

He insists he's harmless once you get to know him. Jill advises keeping your distance.
