Stone of Infliction

Heralded as one of the top five rarest gemstones in the world, Mythilphyst is the second hardest substance known to the world.

Discovered in an ancient chest hidden in a cave on the isle of Arl'Endith, these particular articles of cut and polished Mythilphyst were dubbed the 'Stones of Infliction' after a stalactite fell upon one of the explorers who opened the chest, inflicting a fatal wound.

Who it was that originally activated the stones with the arcane power that surrounds them remains a mystery but the energy given off by them is exceptionally strong and captivating to behold.
