Pollarium

Triple filtered, refined, condensed and unadulterated, Pollarium is a sweet-smelling but potent resin that is used in high powered energetic exhilliration or 'activation' of wooden objects.

It is said that this pricey resin was accidentally discovered by an arcanist who was experimenting with different substances at the time.

Initially, nothing seemed to have occurred with the experiments and it wasn't until the next day that the arcanist, wondering why a bright orange glow was coming from beneath the workshop door, entered his workshop and discovered that he had inadvertently activated his workbench which was now emitting a fierce, protective orange aura.

Apparently, the workbench has endured to the present time where it is on display in a museum somewhere.
