Crystal Cloth

Riers are hideous creatures, but unlike their appearance, they have the ability to produce a material that can be used to create beautiful articles of clothing.

Due to their inability to survive the cold winter months, Riers go into hibernation, often burrowing themselves underground. In order to protect from the cold, Riers line the walls of this temporary dwelling with a silky substance that's produced from their body. During the winter period, these walls become crystalized, and can be harvested in the spring, eventually being spun into cloth.

Much stronger than more traditional fabrics, Crystal Cloth is not only highly flexible, but also provides a mirror-like finish, which makes it an incredbily unique textile
