Following the winds of change brought by Trade Winds Rising, which ushered in a new era of market transparency and strategic depth, we're setting sail again. This time, with refined mechanics that elevate both gameplay and decision-making. With this and future updates, expect smarter systems, deeper immersion, and an experience crafted for those ready to master the shifting tides.
The containers scattered across Lunaria have undergone a full overhaul, both in form and function.
First, they now clearly display drop odds, categorized into three groups:
Next, we’ve reshuffled how they’re classified and traded:
Mysterious Nest, Sunken Treasure Trove, Guardian’s Chest & Key, and Invictus Insignia are now officially Collectibles.
Craving the thrill of unearthing a Mythical or Transcendent item? You’re in luck, Nightmare Vaults and Frostfall Vaults are now tradable for Gold Coins, bringing that high-stakes hunt back to life.
Note: All existing buy and sell orders for updated containers and their associated items have been canceled.
Edmund Ironhand hit a snag in his spellscroll logistics. Seems his bumbling apprentice forgot to restock the Greater XP Tomes. Typical novice blunder. To make amends (and avoid another lecture from the Arcane Council), Edmund is offering rare XP Tomes at a discounted price. Even better, he’s enchanted them for rapid use, so you can tear through your stash like a firestorm through dry grass.
The early-game gold grind has shifted. With some containers no longer tradable for gold, direct earnings may dip slightly, but there’s a silver lining. Many low-level players may now earn more Enjin instead, which can be used to:
With the introduction of Valor Token Caches, a new source of gold for Member Orbs, some items (like Guardian’s Chest) saw price shifts due to multiple new gold sinks. Adding Nightmare and Frostfall Vaults into the mix further stirs the pot.
We’re keeping a close watch, but we believe this shift will prove to be a meaningful step forward once the dust settles.
Work continues behind the curtain on Primeforge Shards and the Mythical/Transcendent Arcane Fragments. Primeforge Shards are at the core of our upcoming weapon progression system, one of the most ambitious projects we've ever tackled.
Implementing this system is far more complex than it appears. Weapon upgrades touch nearly every part of the codebase, meaning we can’t just "flip a switch." The underlying system wasn’t designed to handle uniquely minted items at this level of customization or permanence.
Our recent Emporium overhaul laid critical groundwork for handling unique items, but more work is needed before we can bring the full system to life.
To those continuing to support Lost Relics while we build something of this scale, thank you. We know progress can feel slow, but our commitment remains: to deliver something truly worth the wait.
