Overview

The winds of change have swept through the emporium! With this update, we're lifting the veil on trading by upgrading from a blind order book to a full-featured open market system. For the first time ever, adventurers can view Buy and Sell orders, act instantly with powerful new trading tools, and prepare for the arrival of unique, upgradable items.

This overhaul not only improves player control and visibility, it also sets the foundation for future trading systems involving unique and upgraded items.

Additionally, all orders now have pre-set durations that you can customize when you create them. Once they expire, they'll stop being matched, and you'll need to decide what you'd like to do with them. This gives you the confidence to set short term orders for items with high volatility while also helping keep the order books relevant.

The Market Value can have multiple states that you should be aware of. For all active trading, you'll see the Change value displayed, but for older listings, a new status will appear. If there's been no trades within 31-90 days, the status will show Stale. If there's no trades within 91-180 days, the status will show Archived. Beyond this the status will show Inactive. The states will give you an idea of how relevant the Market Value price is. The older it is, the less likely the price may still apply.

All existing orders older than 30 days will expire with this update.

While the current order slot limits are staying in place for now, the new system makes it far easier to fulfill trades. With full visibility into active listings, you'll spend less time waiting and more time closing deals. We'll revise the slot limits after we've observed further marketplace activity.


System Upgrades and UI Improvements

This patch includes various improvements to UI systems and adventuring mechanics:

  • Redesigned Exchange Interface: Cleaner windows and confirmation flow for better item trading.
  • Exchange Quantity Selection: Choose how many items to exchange at once, or use the new "Max" button to save time.
  • Shop and Exchange Quantity UI: Easily set quantity fields to the maximum available with a single click.
  • Updated Adventure Gather Nodes: Revamped to support more diverse gameplay and future changes.
  • Invisible Decoration Slots: Decoration slots in houses only appear when you're nearby with a matching item, or stand still for 2+ seconds with free backpack space.

Fixes and Balance Changes

We’ve resolved several long-standing bugs and made polish changes across the board:

  • Fixed Razorwind and Moonjackal to correctly restore energy
  • Fixed Velora visual and teleport issues on Low settings
  • Fixed missing tooltip indicators for marketplace status, ownership, etc
  • Fixed cooldowns and energy costs not displaying on some item tooltips
  • Fixed modal windows so that the Escape key functions properly again
  • Adjusted projectile size for Voltcore for better visual clarity
  • Updated text for blockchain consumables like Warpstone to clarify they aren’t consumed
  • Updated Valor Expedition window to auto-select the correct tab based on available content
  • Fixed various outfit hat slots that weren’t applying correctly

We’ve also updated multiple consumables to ensure they don’t activate if your health or energy is already full. This applies to: Amberhive Charm, Caramel Cupcake, Lifeblood Charm, Mulfiddich Coconut, Pacific Peach, Raven Ring, Revenant's Keepsake, Screamies, and Wellspring Talisman. These items now match the other Artifacts that have similar abilities.

A warning has also been added when you try to enter an adventure without a weapon equipped.

Minor performance improvements have been made to keep gameplay smooth as the world continues to expand.
