Rebirth of Legends

Mystic Maelstrom

In the forge of time, legends rise anew,
Paths untrodden call to the brave and true.
A world reshaped, where heroes reclaim,
Their stories, their quests, and eternal flame.

As we prepare for our Early Access launch on the Epic Games Store (Wishlist here!), we’ve focused on enhancing the new player experience. This includes a completely revamped set of starter quests and an immersive new intro sequence.

Upon entering the world of Lunaria, you’ll find yourself in a brand-new starting location, allowing you to experience the game as new players will.

The updated starter quests will guide you through the early stages of gameplay, so for most of you it'll be common knowledge, but we've added some new rewards to them to entice you. We haven't relocked anything, so you might notice that there's no notification if you do unlock something through a quest, but that's because you've already unlocked it previously.

We hope you enjoy the enriched lore and storytelling we’ve woven into these new starter quests, offering a fresh narrative for both new and returning players.

Upcoming Enjin Multiverse Event

Mark your calendars! This event begins on 1st October and runs until 15th October. It will be held monthly, giving you the opportunity to collect a wide range of Enjin Multiverse items, with this month's feature item—Shadowsong.

Shadowsong

Embark on a thrilling multiverse journey by completing 12 weekly goals to gather valuable Multiverse Essence and Multiverse Medallions.

Multiverse Essence and Medallion

Your Multiverse Essence will determine your position on the leaderboard—the more you collect, the higher you’ll climb. Aim for the top to secure yourself a Shadowsong!

Trade two Multiverse Medallions with the legendary Enjinious Blocksmith to unlock the mysteries of the Multiverse Mystery Box, filled with special bonuses!

Join Common and Uncommon adventures to collect even more Multiverse Essence, boost your standing on the leaderboard, and increase your chances of victory.

As an additional bonus, you can open a Primythical Chest, once every day of the event to win bonus Multiverse Essence!

There are a total of 50 Shadowsongs, 75 Oindrasdains and 100 Archspires to be won!

The top 50 players on the leaderboard will get to pick their prize from a Shadowsong, Oindrasdain, or an Archspire. (Winners will be given 48 hours to pick their prize, after which a prize will be randomly assigned)

After 48 hours, all remaining prizes will be raffled to any remaining participants, with chances based on the amount of Multiverse Essence collected.

Multiverse Oindrasdain and Archspire

We'll be delivering all prizes virtually, until all prizes have been assigned. This will allow you to immediately use your prize within Lost Relics. Once Enjin have sent out the prizes to your wallet, we'll revoke the virtual prizes, leaving you with the items in your wallet.

To participate, make sure to connect your Enjin Wallet, as all prizes are blockchain-based Enjin items!

Terror Descent Weekly Prize

We’re introducing a new reward for players who brave the depths of Terror Descent. Players who successfully complete level 4 of Terror Descent three times in a week will now earn a Terror Vault, a counterpart to the Nightmare Vault from Descending Nightmares.

Terror Vault

If you're up for the challenge, completing both Terror Descent and Descending Nightmares will present you with a choice: you’ll be able to select which vault you'd like to receive at the end of the week when you open your prize (You can't receive both).

Quality of Life Improvements

We’ve implemented several quality of life changes to enhance your experience in Lunaria:

  • Free players can now use production skills up to and including level 10, opening up more opportunities for crafting and gathering resources.
  • We’ve removed the burn mechanic from cooking, making the culinary arts more forgiving and enjoyable for everyone.
  • Support has been added for up to 16 loadout slots, which can be unlocked through Champion Rewards, giving you more flexibility in customizing your gear.
  • Questline unlocks are now visible in Champion Rewards, making it easier to track your progress and future unlocks.
  • Magic weapon movement speed while casting has been increased, making combat with spellcasters more fluid and responsive.
  • The appearance of the production skills book and production window entries has been updated for a cleaner, more intuitive interface.
  • Lowered interaction priority for items like the Energy Spring and other players, reducing the chance of unintentional interactions during gameplay.

On the Horizon

The past year has brought numerous exciting developments to Lost Relics. From the release of Inverdhen, Frostfall Siege, Echoes of Time, Descending Nightmares, and Terror Descent, to the introduction of the Enjin Matrixchain, the Multiverse Event, revamped maps, monster balancing, collectible circulation, and engaging community events—Lunaria has experienced incredible growth, with more on the horizon!

We deeply value your feedback and have worked diligently to incorporate suggestions that align with our vision for the game. We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, but sometimes adjustments are essential for enhancing your overall experience as we continue to evolve Lost Relics.

As we move forward, we want to give you a heads-up about some upcoming changes so you can prepare and plan accordingly:

  • Royal Emporium Fees will increase from 4% to 8%

Since its inception, the Royal Emporium fee has been kept low at 4%, with 25% of that (1%) redistributed to players through Enjin Gems.

The increase to 8% will support the development of our upcoming Content Creator Support System, expand the Enjin Gems pool, and fund future circular economy initiatives. It will also help cover development costs, allowing us to continue enhancing and expanding the game.

This fee change will take effect with our launch on the Epic Games Store.

  • Shattered Gems will be reset after Rift Construction (Community Event)

While Shattered Gems have been a valuable tool for circulating collectibles, we’ve identified some issues with the mechanic and need to make adjustments. To facilitate these changes, all Shattered Gems will be turned to dust (reset).

We encourage you to spend your remaining Shattered Gems on Mystic Beacons, Potion Packs, Inverdhen Teleport Scrolls, Frostfall Siege Keys, or Premium Armors before the reset occurs.

  • Bounty Bucks, Beast Bounty Scrolls, and Bounty Chests Reset

As we aim to soon launch a new and improved event format that integrates the current bounty system, it’s important that all players start on equal footing. Therefore, we will reset Bounty Bucks, Beast Bounty Scrolls, and Bounty Chests.

Players with significant amounts of Bounty Bucks will be able to exchange them through a temporary exchange system. Please note, however, that high-tier collectible weapons and artifacts will not be included in this exchange, as they were always intended to come from Bounty Chests.

Beast Bounty Scrolls can be either completed or sold to other players. To prevent new scrolls from entering the game, their drops have been disabled.

Bounty Chests should be opened before the reset, otherwise they'll turn to dust.

We'll provide another announcement about this before the new event format goes live.

We understand that these changes may impact your gameplay in the short term, but we are confident that they will lead to a more balanced and rewarding experience in the long run. Thank you for your continued support as we work to make Lost Relics the best it can be!
