Home Sweet Home

No ghosts, but the neighbors might drop by for sugar.
No ghosts, but the neighbors might drop by for sugar.

Introducing the highly anticipated ability to purchase player homes, revamped loyalty rewards that promise richer treasures, and the newfound flexibility to transfer Founder’s Tokens, enhancing the immersive experience for seasoned adventurers and newcomers alike.

Talmuth Real Estate

You can now choose to buy a home closer to Adventure Pass, instead of sharing a bunk bed with all the other adventurers!

It’ll require Gold Coins and a few Blockchain items to be able to purchase though. See the NPC outside if you’re interested in becoming Talmuth’s newest homeowner!

Once you’ve purchased your new home, you’ll be able to interact with a stash, conveniently located just outside the front door.

Right now this is to just allow you to unlock your stash closer to adventure pass, but in the future, we’ll allow the ability to actually go inside your house, instead of looking longingly through the window at your empty lounge room, imagining how you might decorate it if you could actually get the door open.

Secret Stash Slots

You now have the ability to unlock additional secret stash slots by exchanging some blockchain items for a new slot!

This new mechanic breathes some life into some of the blockchain items that have been gathering dust in your stash.

Founder’s Token Transfer

We’ve added a way for you to send your Founder’s Token into the game (using the same mechanism as all your other items).

The process will remove the index associated with the NFT (research indicated that this wasn’t important in the resale of the token, nor did it serve a purpose within the game), and the upside is that we’ll be able to allow you to trade your Founder’s Token within the in-game marketplace!

Trading will be enabled once we’ve ensured there are no issues with the transfers.

Additionally, if you’ve ever listed any items on the EnjinX marketplace and they’re still sitting there waiting to be sold, be sure to cancel them as Enjin are shutting down their Marketplace on Feb 1st, 2024. Existing marketplace listings on Feb 1st, 2024 will be frozen and permanently inaccessible!

They’re also shutting down the EnjinX explorer on April 1st, 2024. It probably won’t be too much longer before we’ll lose access to their API and be unable to read your Enjin Ethereum wallets.

If you haven’t already, be sure to send any items you have in your Enjin wallet, to the game in preparation for moving blockchains. We haven’t made the final decision where we’ll go yet, but Enjin’s Matrixchain is looking promising.

When you’re ready, visit https://lostrelics.io/account/wallet and click the ‘Transfer’ button.

Loyalty Rewards and Gilded Treasures

We used to have a secret loyalty rewards system, where players would be granted secret titles as well as a secret Outfit and a Weapon, to reward them for spending $ in our shop.

This secret loyalty rewards system has been replaced by an open loyalty rewards system, allowing everyone to not only see their progress, but to also choose the rewards that are most appropriate for themselves.

The Gilded Knight and Golden Storm items have been replaced with improved versions, and turned into a set of Gilded items, available exclusively in the Royal Exchange. Additionally if you’re not after any of the Gilded Set items, you can purchase a pack of Luneri, giving yourself further discounts in the Item Shop.

Additional items will be added to the Royal Exchange in the future.

As a thank you to all the players who have supported us over the years, we’ve credited Royal Sapphires for any players who have made purchases in our shop since 2019. If you’ve ever bought anything in the shop you’ll have a stack of Royal Sapphires to use in the new Royal Exchange on the main menu!

Additionally, we’ve simulated the rewards system since 2019, which means if you’ve spent more than $150 within the last year, you’ll also start at a level higher than Bronze Rewards. (You can read full details about the rewards system here: https://lostrelics.io/rewards)

A Royal Sapphire
A Royal Sapphire

Any players who unlocked Gilded Knight and/or Golden Storm in the past (These items were account bound and untradable in the past, and so we’ve removed these old items, and introduced new items that are Blockchain items, and tradable), will have a 1 week head start to claim any of the limited Gilded items, before everybody else. The only catch is that they can only claim each item once, during this 1 week time period. (This is to allow those players who previously claimed these rewards, to claim them again, or perhaps claim a slightly different reward, if they prefer instead, without missing out).

Once the week is over, the Royal Exchange will open for everyone, and the 1 item limit will be removed, allowing previous players who claimed, to claim additional items if they desire.

Any time you now purchase Luneri, you’ll be granted Royal Sapphires. The amount depends on both your rewards level, as well as the USD value of the Luneri you purchase, but you’ll see how many you will receive before purchasing your Luneri bundle.

When you earn Royal Sapphires in a calendar year, your Royal Sapphires add up to put you at a certain level. The more Royal Sapphires you earn, the higher your level becomes. The higher your level is, the more Royal Sapphires, you can get.

Royal Sapphires levels

Bronze level gives 1 Royal Sapphire for every $1 spent to buy Luneri.

You’ll level up to Silver once you spend $150, and in doing so be granted a rate of 1.1 Royal Sapphires for every $1 spent.

There are 5 levels in total: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

Loyalty rewards levels

Any Royal Sapphires you earn will expire one year after the last time you earned or used them. If you continue to earn them, or occasionally exchange them, they won’t expire.

Royal Sapphires you’ve earned in a calendar year count as progress towards the next level. You won’t lose level progress when you exchange your Royal Sapphires for rewards. Once you reach a level, you keep that level until the end of the next calendar year.

Weapon and Relic Effects

A range of existing weapons and relics have had new effects added, or old effects which are no longer desirable, updated.

The marketplace listings for all of these items have also been cancelled, to allow you time to assess and adjust your listing as you see fit.

  • Added purchase rewards system which rewards you a Royal Sapphire for each $1 spent in the shop (to buy Luneri). As a thank you to all the players who have supported us over the years, we've credited the rewards as far back as 2019, so if you've ever bought anything in the shop you'll have a stack of Royal Sapphires to use in the new Royal Exchange on the main menu! (NOTE: This exchange will be hidden for the first week)
  • If you previously obtained Gilded Knight or Golden Storm, you will no longer have those, instead you'll have more than enough rewards points to claim them again, within this new open reward system (instead of being a secret), except this time they're not account bound, and they're tradable. Additionally, there's also new items you may want to claim with your Royal Sapphires too. (For 1 week, this exchange will only be available to players who previously unlocked Gilded Knight or Golden Storm, and initially will be limited to 1 item per account. 1 week after the patch is live, the Royal Exchange will appear for all players, and the 1 item per account will be removed.)
  • Improved ranged aiming, so that nearby targets are considered if no other targets could be found and so you don't need to be so accurate
  • Removed 'Accuracy Chance' from all weapons, there's no longer a concept of 'Miss Chance'
  • Adjusted the auto drop logic to give highest priority to blockchain and untradable items, discarding first the cheapest virtual item and only after that blockchain items
  • Added possible fix for end of level getting stuck and the terrain disappearing
  • Added a way to lock the camera vertical rotation into a specific value for gamepad
  • Added possible fix for Guardians disappearing
  • Fixed production causing some stacked items to disappear (I.e. Gorgondonna Eggs)
  • Fixed issues with Bombardiers damage
  • Fixed Slither not having sounds
  • Fixed items such as Doomsday Cranium not crediting players with experience
