As groundwork laid a path to new discovery, prophetic pieces of the puzzle began to fall into alignment; a foundational future had been set; the past, a distant memory. No longer were the visions unclear, rather, they lent hope for what had yet to come. A new world was on the horizon, with unforeseen challenges to overcome; creatures of the unknown, enigmatic lands of the forgotten. The journey would not be without strain, but with proper seeds sown, the reap would undoubtedly, be bountiful. Patience and determination, would be key to unlocking the mysteries that await, as without, a grim fate of assured devastation, would soon follow…

The future is looking brighter than ever, and this update pushes us one step closer to achieving our ultimate vision. Important changes, as well as new mechanics, that will help to solidify a strong foundation, and prepare us for what’s to come.

The Power Of Six

Evils; they await. As corrupt forces continue to grow, and make their presence known, the increased need for ultimate protection, will demand escalation, as well.

As a result of this ever-expanding horror, we’ve now given you the ability to defend yourself, like never before. No longer will 5 relics be enough to take on the great evils that insist on your destruction, and therefore, we’ve increased your capacity, to 6.

Although not an easy decision, it was a necessary one. As the game continues to develop, and new monsters, and mechanics are unleashed, we believe that a 6th slot will allow for a far more desirable experience, for all.

Some key benefits to this change, include:

• Increased customization; takes class-building to a whole new level
• Increased demand for relics. Each player will now have the ability to use an extra relic, which will increase the demand for relics, as a whole, as well as their value

Spatial Expansion

You thought we’d increase your relic capacity, but leave your inventory space, hanging? Of course not! With an increased risk of danger, you’re going to need all the help you can get. 2 extra inventory slots, should surely do the trick!

This expanded space, could be the difference between you succumbing to a gruesome wound on the battlefield, or achieving ultimate victory. With increased space for consumables, increased space for producing, and increased space for rewards, your life as a calculated adventurer, just got a lot more flexible.

For Whom The Bell Coals

As the catacombs of Talmuth continued to be excavated, its depths unearthed a rare resource, of great importance. With a world in desperate need of its supply, veins of coal were recently discovered underneath this unassuming town, causing its citizens to be overwhelmed, with joy. Knowing that a prosperous future seemed likely, they began digging further, and further, eventually unveiling the largest deposit of coal in known existence, and bringing forth some much-needed financial stability to this once quaint town.

A coal mine has arrived! Located within the catacombs of Talmuth, you will now find rock deposits, that only contain the wonderful resource, known as coal.

This new mine should help to bring some much-needed coal to the economy, and in the meanwhile, make a few people rich, in the process. However, with great power, comes great responsibility, so be sure to gather with care. How much coal could possibly exist beneath the grounds of Talmuth? I guess we’re about to find out!

Shh, Secret Stashes Are Here!

Can you keep a secret? Well you better, because if not, your most precious goods could end up in the hands of a wandering bandit, or worse, your greatest of enemies!

Sometimes travelling all the way to the tavern, just to access your valuable possessions, isn’t all that fun. Between the sun damage, and those pesky lightning strikes, it can also be quite dangerous.

Introducing, Secret Stashes. Located in various strategic locations, and scattered throughout the known lands, you will be able to store up to 5 of your most essential items, inside of inconspicuous objects, where only you will truly know what lies inside.

Details:

• Your first Secret Stash is located outside of the Adventure Cave
• Your first stash is a Barrel, don’t tell a soul!
• You can store up to 5 items, 1,000 per slot
• You will have to manually fill this Secret Stash
• You can send an entire slot back to your stash for a Gold Coin fee

That’s right, the Raffle system has made a comeback, and it’s better than ever before! Introducing a newly redesigned, and more importantly, rewardingly-automated, Raffle experience.

Why have only 1 winner, when you can have 10? Our thoughts exactly. Rather than focus on a sole winner, we decided to expand our array of prizes, and distribute them across multiple players, instead.

This new format, introduces quite a few changes:

• New Raffle every 48 Hours
• Players can only purchase a max of 10 tickets, per Raffle
• Each ticket will cost 1,000 Gold
• Instead of 1 winner, there are now 10 positions, of progressively better prizes
• Raffle winners are announced in the Overseer

Teamwork, Makes The Dream Work

Wake up! ’Tis but a dream! You are no longer in the realm of Dreamscape, but if you were, you would be experiencing a land of pure imagination, where your false realities, are only limited by your own creativity!

Introducing Dreamscape, an all-in-one, custom game mode, where players can artificially enter into a world, of their own unique design.

Whether you want to experience what it would feel like, to be chased down by hoards of Rogs, while strolling through a sunlit beach, or viciously hunted by pesky Mallows in a darkened cavern, if you can think it, the conjurers of Talmuth can make it happen.

Illusions or not, these extraordinary conceptualizations will feel very real to those who partake. So real, that they will be able to pass these experiences onto others, via a uniquely cryptic, numerical code.

Although Dreamscape will continue to be enhanced over time, its inception brings forth a myriad of wonderful customizations, including the ability to fine-tune certain aspects of your experience, like those listed below:

• Difficulty
• Monster types, quantity, and limits
• Dreamscape theme
• Weather
• Time of day

Once you’ve entered Dreamscape, nothing it as it appears, including the mere concept of mortal existence. This means, if you die whilst inside, it will not be considered a true death. If you use consumables within, they will appear as if they have never been touched, upon exit.

So go in there, have a little fun, tell your friends, create challenges, host some custom tournaments, but please, please, for the love of all that is holy, do not, fall asleep in Dreamscape. Never… fall… asleep… in Dreamscape…

Streamer Notifications

Are you a seasoned broadcaster, interested in increasing your viewership, or an up-and-comer, looking to spread the word of your venture into streaming? Maybe you just want to have some fun, and showcase the game for all to see? Well, we may have the solution you’ve been looking for!

Using Discord integration, you will now be able to connect your Discord account to LR, via the website's External Accounts page. After performing this connection, you will then be able to display an in-game notification, whenever your broadcast goes live, alerting the entire player base of your stream!

If you haven’t already, be sure to head over to our official Discord server, and apply to become our newest content creator, which will then enable your ability to take advantage of this great tool of promotion.

From then on, whenever you create a post in #content-creators, which has a link to your content, an in-game notification will appear. If you included some text with your link, it’ll be included in the notification!

Gifting Has Arrived!

Who says there’s only one season of giving? Quite frankly, we believe that it should be all-year ‘round!

The ability to shower your friends with amazing gifts, has arrived! A truly automated gifting feature, has found its way to the website shop, and with a few simple clicks, you’ll soon have your friends cheering, in absolute delight.

Via a search function, you are now able to locate any player in the entire game, and bless them with a gift of your choosing. This includes players who have not yet had their accounts activated. If you gift a player with an unactivated account, a 7-day Pendant, or greater, their accounts will become activated. (To do this, you must get their Support Id, which is available to them when they login to the website and visit their account page, then search for the id instead of their name)

Whether you wish to donate a Pendant, a Morph, an Outfit, or even a Pet, everything is now possible. As long as it’s sold on the website, you are able to gift it. (Credit card payments for gifts are only available to verified accounts for now)

This new gifting feature will allow for a seamless experience for streamers, looking to host awesome giveaways, and reward their most loyal fans, or for fans to send their love to their favorite streamers! It’s also an important puzzle piece, as we work towards a more integrated, streamer-friendly environment, in Lost Relics.

• Added the ability to purchase website shop items as a gift for another player (including accounts not yet activated), and include a message if desired
• Added Content Creator announcement system which is integrated with the discord #content-creators channel. Any posts with links from verified content creators will be broadcast to all running game instances and include the text that was written in the discord message. This feature can be disabled in the game settings.
